12.5 Termination and Suspension

1. Termination by You:

• You have the right to terminate your account at any time by contacting InsuranceDAO.World customer support or by using the account settings within the platform. Upon termination, all access to the platform will be revoked, and any associated personal data, transactions, or records may be deleted, except where retention of such data is required by applicable law or for the purposes of legal compliance, tax reporting, or the resolution of disputes.

2. Termination by InsuranceDAO.World:

• InsuranceDAO.World reserves the absolute right to suspend or terminate your access to the platform at any time, without prior notice, should you breach any provision of these Terms or engage in any harmful, unlawful, or disruptive activities. Such activities may include, but are not limited to, fraud, manipulation of platform functions, or violation of local laws. Termination will not affect any accrued rights, obligations, or liabilities arising prior to the termination, including outstanding transactions, premium payments, or claims.

3. Effects of Termination:

• Upon termination of your account, any pending transactions, claims, or obligations may remain unresolved and will be addressed at the sole discretion of InsuranceDAO.World. In the event of termination, you may forfeit any staked tokens, premiums, or other assets held on the platform if they are subject to platform-specific rules, outstanding financial commitments, or if they are tied to unresolved claims. Users acknowledge and agree that termination may result in the permanent loss of access to platform services and funds held on the platform.
